"There were a lot of eateries to choose from and a small collection of stores with souvenirs and artisan products. I recommend dropping in to Olympico for a fab coffee in charming Italianesque surroundings. I got the impression that everyon..e was preparing for the season and we were there a bit early: not all shops open, attractions being tested etc. "Read full review
At first, this trip may look attractive but be careful. You will be in a bus full of chinese tourists and the communication and food throughout will mainly be chinese. The hotel room was cold and shabby. Will review Quality Hotel in detail ..on Tripadvisor. Itinerary included breakfast at budget hotels but here we were given breakfast packs the night before (upon arrival in the hotel)- the packs contained one banana, 2 slices cold and stale bread, a small jam sachet and a small juice pack. After providing this kind of stale food, the bus never took a breakfast stop in the mornings for some hot coffee etc. What a shame!
We were charged 20$ per person for visiting Montreal Botanical Gardens. We reached there at 4.45pm and were hurried through the greenhouse. Later, upon further enquiry, I got to know that the places closes at 5pm. Moreover, the actual Gardens are closed until mid-May. Why take us for an optional tour attraction which is actually closed and that too on such tight time. I would like to request a refund of the wasted 50$ spent for 2 adult and 1 child entry.
Lastly, the bus was in poor condition- the seats worn out and torn, the toilet was never cleaned in 3 days, so it became unbearable to enter the toilet on the 3rd tour day.
The driver, Ben, drove us safety and the guide Carrie was courteous. We got back safely, thats all that matters. But yes, I felt cheated and would still request a refund for the Montreal Botanical Gardens entry feeRead full review
Still fun roaming the cobblestone streets even after having done so for decades of trips. Okay it's touristy and overpriced here and there but this area is so fun and so nice. Old Montreal is filled with charming shops and a plethora of eat..ing establishments. This is a must for the novice Montreal traveler and still fun for a visit for the seasoned pro. This is not a huge area and easy to do on foot in a half day.Read full review
The trip is short on time but it's full of things to see and do. Maybe to get even better we just wish we had more time in some of the museuns in wich we had only 20 minutes. The hotels were really nice and clean which was a great deal. Ne..mo, our tour guide was really gentle and kind. All the time she was really trying to please all. The only thing that we didn't like it too much was that the food in the last days were all in the same kind of restaurant, besides this the trip was a memorable time for us! :) Definitely looking for the next one!!!Read full review
The tour was good, however you guys should work to get a good tour guide, please understand that people with different languages avail your tours so try to arrange for guides who can not just speaking Chinese, but good English also.
I was not allowed to use the washroom in the bus with the instructions of not drinking too much water during the travels and thereby creating a possibility of using washroom in the bus, are you kidding me! No wifi since the moment they anno..unced they had a wifi connection in the bus, funny eh! Other than that the trip was as good as it gets!Read full review
Tour guide speaks 50 sentences Chinese and 5 sentences English. Expecting to go inside Parliament but did not happen. Hotel room odor sucks. Food not worth the price. Not given other option for food. Bus toilet stinks
