100% Trip to Japan

Family trip to Japan. Excellent itinerary, allowed for seeing many different sights in multiple cities in Japan. The tour was well-paced with enough time to explore on our own in the evenings. Tour guides were knowledgeable, had great attit..udes and were accommodating, willing to modify our plans to allow us to see other sights if we wanted to as well. The vans were large and comfortable for the longer drives and water was always provided. Sharon was great as helping us coordinate the trip and also stayed in communication with us throughout the trip to ensure everything was going well. Overall excellent trip!Read full review
We family enjoyed ourselves. It was an unbelievable experience. There is a lot to do, see, Every place we went to was just as incredible as the place prior.Nice trip.
The reservation and customer service for this trip were great! The Yellowstone was closed due to flood the week before our trip starts. I thought we have to miss it. Fortunately, it was reopened the day before we started our trip. Thankfull..y, Tours4Fun representatives are very responsive to my emails concerning the closure matter. About the tour itself, it was a great tour & great value! We got to visit all the highlighted points as marked on the itinerary. Please be prepared a lot of walking if you want to visit all the beautiful wonders on this trip! Our tour guide, Beau was wonderful and very informative! Our bus driver was friendly and simply good in driving! We enjoyed the trip so much and even made a few new friends! We will definitely continue booking via Tours4Fun. Hopefully, we will have Beau as our tour guide again.Read full review
I signed up for this tour (starting and ending in Salt Lake City) and was having such a good experience that I extended my trip to complete the rest of the tour through to Los Angeles. Each place was so special and there were many amazing s..ites to see. Sightseeing wonders, varying landscapes, wildlife, plus more. The journey between each place was just as special. Things you could never see if you were flying. The guide, Achilles (HD!) was exceptional. He brought a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the tour, and I learned a lot. He was organized, thoughtful and made sure everybody was taken care of. I met so many great people, it was a true adventure and I would definitely do a similar tour again!Read full review
Experienced the Amaxing Views of the Grand Canyon for our first time. We learned a lot about these areas and the views were breathtaking. Next year, we will go again. Our local tour guide was very friendly and funny.
The hotels were extremely poor. I understand your need to save costs, but even with that, some research in hotel selections by your agency is warranted. In each hotel we were given twin beds instead of queen bed. Most of them did not even h..ave a kettle. Travelling in a cold climate, I wanted to drink warm water and it did not make sense to go down to reception asking again n again. They were far from main cities with limited food options. At the Campanile Bobigny, the staff did not even allow us to take empty plates to our room. That is simply disgusting customer service. In Lucerne, we were given only 1.5 hours leisure time after travelling for 9 hours. How is that logical? The hotel should have been nearby so that we could have travelled on our own later at night. The cities were so beautiful but your choice of hotels spoiled the entire trip. It is unlikely that I will recommend this particular trip to friends. In case you have better trip with good accommodations, please do advise and I will consider again.Read full review

The only gripe that I have, is with the hotel amenities. The first is, some showers were simply a trickle on full trotle, and lastly a more harmful treat, sudden cut-in and cut-out of cold or very hot water as though the mixture you adjuste..d suddenly don't work anymore.Read full review

We have mixed experiences about this tour. First of all I'm mentioning bad onces & then I will cover good parts.
Bad Experiences:
1. 1st Day Hotel experience is really very bad. The Clarion Hotel in Calgary City having lot of problems lik..e - water logging in bathrooms, mal-functionl AC, very rude behaviour from font desk staff, making delay in alotting rooms though there wre plenty of vacant rooms are there and we already booked rooms in that hotel a month ago.
2. Transportation from Calgary Airport to Clarion Hotel was very problematic as the authorized Cab driver as well as Hotel Front Desk staff were not co-operating for re-imbursing the money initially. We got the money after we had round of escalations with Hotel Management & Tours4Fun.
3. We have prior experiences in travelling with a tour group where personally we didn't checkedin the hotel. But, in this scenario, first 2 days, we have seen this issue where we need to show all details and enquire about our hotel resevations. There was no Tours4Fun or Wester representative to handle that.
4. 4th day's lunch was just a disaster. There are lot of resturants in Jasper town with ecomonical options for meal/foods. But, not sure why they had booked for a Korean Resturant(Kimichi House) with extremely bad-tasted-soup-only-meal. We were not able to eat this. And they were not providing altenate meal option also though it was already paid by us. They should understand that the meal option should be acceptable to generic people and not for a specific region. Even most of our chinese travel-mates also could not manage to eat that bogus meal. Wester/Tours4Fun also not refunding that meal money for both of us.
Good Experiences:
1. Bus coach driver Paul & Tour Guide Lisa were really good & friendly. They were showing and explaining the places very descriptive ways.
2. Lunch at Fairmont Spring Banff Hotel was just awesome.
3. Hotel Voyeger Inn at Banff & Athabasca Hote at Jasper town are good hotels and nice arrangements in rooms. Though both of them are lacking elevator as they are very old & refurbishes recently. The sceni views from them just breathtaking.
4. Breakfast bouffets are good in all 3 hotels - Clarion at Calgary, Hotel Voyeger Inn at Banff & Athabasca Hote at Jasper town.
5. The places where we went for visting all are superb and gorgous. I can't explain their beauties in words.Read full review
It was great fun. Very well managed and well paced over the 4 days. Hotels were great (except Clarion), food was great.. Most importantly, we had a great tour guide (Lisa Rong) as well as a very courteous driver (Paul) with Westar. Lisa rea..lly went out of her way to take care of guests and some of our personal requests specially on the food menu. The driver Paul was very knowledgeable - he knew the mountains and lakes and certainly a great story teller.Read full review
Tour guide is very unprofessional. Found out that she was sleeping with one of the male travellers in our group. She is interested only to party with the younger travellers. She gives NO notice to the older ladies, who could not cope with t..he group walking, despite she is called upon. She has no local knowledge. She will google about the place as the bus is approaching ,& then read the information from her handphone. She can not speak any of the local language and is dependent on the driver to get us thru the various borders. She is not organised and frankly should not be a tour guide.
Please see attached feedback form, which I have completed for Expat Explorer. Hope this form finds its way back to the compsny.Read full review
Accommodation was very good and our tour guide was very thorough very knowledgeable about the countries history. Enjoyed the tour tremendously except a lot of walking.
