Went on a tour of Muir Woods in the morning and a city of San Francisco tour in the afternoon. Muir Woods is amazing. The tour of the city was comprehensive. Both tours ran on time well and were well managed. Constantine was a great per..sonality for a guide.Read full review
"The tour itself was terrific. Great tour guides, great route, great experience. I didn't give five starts for two reasons: 1. We toured with a five year old and were told we needed to bring a car seat, but both buses we were on lacked the.. proper hooks/latches to attach the car seat to the bus seat. I'm guessing this is a state law, but still it was frustrating to drag a car seat (I wouldn't have if I hadn't been told to) and not be able to use it properly. 2. We booked a Sausalito tour and a day in the bay tour. From the website I did not realize they were not one continuous tour. This caused a logistical issue when the first bus driver assured us we could be dropped off at the Hilton where we were picked up for the Sausalito tour and the second bus driver indicated we could be dropped off in China town as another guest was being let off there or at the hotel Zephyr, but not at the Hilton because holiday traffic was too busy to go near union square. Walking/Ubering a half mile from China town to the Hilton with the aforementioned car seat (those things are bulky!) and a senior citizen that walks with a cane was not fun. The other frustrating part is we weren't staying at either hotel. I live in the east bay and took the tour with visiting family so we could have easily parked at any hotel. Your company told me which hotel to meet at. It would have been REALLY nice if the full day's logistics had been taken into consideration and we were able to be dropped off where we were picked up or told to meet at the Zephyr instead of the Hilton. So the tour was terrific, but we were all grumpy by the time we got home due to the logistical issues. :/"Read full review
"Tour was great! They showed up on time, gave great commentary and adjusted the times between Muir Woods and Sausilito to accommodate the fact it was Christmas and not much was going to be open in Sausilito. Would definitely recommend and.. do another tour with them next time I am in the SF area."Read full review
Our tour guide was pretty cool and the location is amazing, Muir woods are so worth it to see, the only thing is the time is very limited from my point of view. In Sausalito you`re pretty much left by yourself. The Bay Cruise was also worth.. it, I mean you get to go under the bridge, c`mon!!
The pick up for the tour was a little problematic as it dose not specify that they have to pick up people individually from different hotels, I was in front of my pick up location alone, the bus was a bit late, nobody could give me any info. In the end it was fine, but after we all got picked up, the bus took us to the tour office, it would have been easier if that was the pick up location.Read full review
I took a tour earlier this same trip with the same company and luckily got the same guide as last time, so my pick-up and transfer went super smooth. We got out of the city fast despite the traffic from Pride weekend and reached Muir Woods ..in a blur. We had about 2 hours there and it was the perfect amount of time to follow the different hiking trails, talk to the ranger guides, explore the gift shop, and get lunch. Our guide let us know the exact time to meet back up and everyone made it back early, so we left promptly.
At our guide's suggestion I got off the bus at Sausalito and was easily able to get a ferry ticket back to Fisherman's Wharf with his instructions. Luckily the weather had cleared up by then and I got to enjoy a sunny afternoon in Sausalito - plus the ferry took us right by Alcatraz!Read full review
