It's not the most grandious trip but for the price we paid, the trip is actually worth it! Decent hotels, other passengers may be loud and are in the no manners leven but most are quite okay. Great and cheap way to see the country

Normally, I don't like doing tours, but this one exceeded my expectations. They picked us up on hotels along the strio, then we had to change the bus. The driver was very informative and he played different documentaries about Vegas, Hoover.. Dam and Grand canyon during our drive. Besides Hoover dam, we also got to see Lake Meade because we were there early. Our next stop was Seligman on Route 66 which is a lovely place, although the stop was a bit short. Then we drove to Grand Canyon. I highly suggest you to walk from Mather point to Bright angel lodge - it is a couple of miles, but totally worth it. On the way back, we stopped in Kingman to eat dinner. To sum up, organization was great, and the South rim is worth the long drive!Read full review
First, I can't say enough about Davina, our tour guide. She was great and went above what we expected. She even walked us from the bus in Flushing to our hotel, a 10 minute walk out of her way home to make sure we got there o.k.! The bus ..driver was also great. There were a few guests on the tour that were habitually late and Davina tried to stress the importance of being on time so we could get to Niagara Falls on time. I know she was frustrated (I was, too!) but she was firm and yet professional at all times. The bus for the 2 day trip was very comfortable, but I wish we could have been allowed cups with lids onboard as I was really craving coffee on our first stop. But other than that, the overall trip was good and well-planned. Watkins Glen Park was beautiful but very taxing on old knees with the hundreds of steps, so not sure I would do that again. And the Imax movie at Niagara was a bore. We didn't do the Native American dance show so can't comment on that. I do highly recommend Whirlpool Park and for history buffs, Old Fort Niagara is interesting. And of course, the falls themselves at Niagara are a sight you just have to experience for yourself. The Best Western hotel we stayed at was nice as well and it included breakfast. We switched to the van in NYC for the trip to Flushing and that ride was awful....I don't think it had any shocks at all and the driver was pretty wild.... overall, great trip though. Will be booking again!Read full review
